Visiting Artist Program

In partnership with Sou’wester Arts, located in Seaview, and because of a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission, we bring traveling artists to our After School Program throughout the year.

This program allows youth to learn from professional artists and practice new skills that require patience, creativity, and growth.

In 2023-2034, Iris Sullivan, of Astoria, joins us each Wednesday to help students explore multiple art mediums.

In addition, because of a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission, we support a visiting artist to teach art classes at Long Beach Elementary in conjunction with science units.

Past artists that have visited our program include (click the links to visit their portfolios)
