Family Resource Center

What is a Family Resource Center? Washington State defines Family Resource Centers as “place-based organizations that provide a single point of entry to a range of services for anyone in the community. FRCs provide information, assess needs, make referrals to family services, and provide direct delivery of family services by FRC staff or contracted providers.”

What is the mission of this FRC? Through individualized support, the FRC collaborates with and holds families accountable by providing & connecting them to resources with the ultimate goal of independence & sustainability.

What is considered a “family”? A family is any household/group of people that includes at least one person between the ages of 0-21. We primarily only serve those that fit this definition, though some of our programs are available for people outside this definition.

How do I access services? The first step to accessing services is to complete our self-assessment/screener below. The results of this will be sent to our FRC Staff, and they will connect with you about which programs you qualify for within 72 business hours. We are not a crisis or after-hours center. If you are in crisis, please contact the 24-hour hotline from Crisis Support Network: 1.800.435.7276

Self Assessment/Screener

Are you looking for support through the FRC? The first step is to complete the screener form here. Once this form is complete, an FRC Staff member will review it and contact you about which services you may qualify for. Though we are a low-barrier program, we have some requirements tied to our funding and must ensure eligibility. You should hear back from a staff member within 72 hours.

If you have a grievance from your time as a client of the FRC, please fill out the form linked below. The participant must be afforded the opportunity to request a review of the rental assistance program termination decision through an informal fair hearing. Other feedback will always be read and taken into consideration to improve our program.
