SUMMER PROGRAMS
Teen Leadership Week: Focused on service leadership, participants will learn about leadership and plan three service projects to complete over the summer with their peers.
July 8-11 (Leadership Week)
July 15, 22, 29 (Service Days)
Leaders in Training: The LIT Program focuses on inspiring the next generation of leaders in our community. The three-day training program gears participants up to serve as Leaders in Training (LITs) during the summer, helping lead small groups and assisting staff with younger campers.
July 1-3 (LIT Training Week)
We expect LITs to serve at least 2 weeks during the summer outside of training week.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Every student in WA State needs 20 community service hours during high school to graduate. We offer/coordinate multiple opportunities throughout the year to earn community service and support our local area.
Outdoor School Student Leader (a week-long opportunity each May)
4th of July Garbage Pick Up (we coordinate a group to meet each year)
Reading at After School Program (come volunteer with our youngest learners at After School Program)
Teen Leadership Summer Program (learn more here!)
TEEN LATE NIGHTS
Through a WA Department of Commerce funded JAG Innovation Grant, we provide safe/sober late night activities that support positive youth development for teens in our community. Geared at supporting youth 6th-12th grade, we focus on pro-social activities late at night.
