Welcome to our Winter Sports families - this is our weekly newsletter to keep you informed on all things youth sports! Check out the section for your sport and the “other updates” at the end of each week’s newsletter.
SOCCER:
Thanks for a great season!! We had 143 athletes turn out to play soccer this year - rain or shine!

HUGE SHOUTOUT to our Soccer Coaches this season. This is our biggest season & requires a lot of dedicated volunteers to make it happen! 5th/6th BASKETBALL
You should have heard from your coach already. If you have not heard from your coach, please email us back here!
Practices can begin today!! Your coach has your schedule for the first two weeks of practice and has the draft game schedule. Games start the week of November 13th. Boys will typically plan on Mon/Wed, and Girls will typically play Tue/Thur. The furthest travel will be Knappa and home games will be at either Long Beach or Ocean Park.
Shooting Shirts will be delivered by November 10th and will be distributed with uniforms.
Remember that kids need to supply their own navy or black shorts to wear with their uniform top.
The rules for 5th/6th Grade Basketball are posted on our website HERE - so that you can familiarize yourself with them. There have been some updates/changes this year.
TRAVEL BASKETBALL
Your coach has your practice and game schedule. They will communicate directly with you.
Remember to login into the system to complete your paperwork and pay your registration fee.
WRESTLING
Practices begin Wednesday, November 1st! Practices are held at IHS in the Mat Room - which is on the main floor by the cafeteria.
Practice runs from 6:00-7:30 and is an “open practice”, meaning that your child can leave earlier than 7:30 if needed. Practice is regularly Tue, Wed, and Thur.
There are multiple coaches that will be there to help your kids learn the skills needed to compete on the mat.

We are still finalizing the dates of the wrestling meets for the season and will let you know as soon as we have dates!
